This project was for one of the regional offices of Údarás na Gaeltacht. Two new office spaces needed to be created within the existing space – both of which had to be self-contained and private. Each office also needed to be large enough to accommodate two people.
The solution used was a frame, a frameless glass wall and glass door.
Our Frameless Glazing Systems are available in thicknesses of 10mm, 12mm or 15mm. The Frameless Glass wall can be delivered with Low DB rating 30 / 32 DB. Or the single glazed wall can deliver 37DB sound rating by us 12.8 Acoustic laminate glass.
With our suppliers Glass Solutions Netherlands, we are very pleased to be the suppliers of one of Ireland’s leading Frameless Glazing Systems. In the Netherlands the system is called ‘Click’ in Ireland we call it Micra System.
In this case, it was appropriate to use the Micra 12mm toughened frameless glass wall with glass door and aluminum frame. The Omega dividing wall had pre-finished vinyl boards with a pre-finished aluminum floor and ceiling tracks. The entire system is pre-decorated, so once it was fitted, there were no further decoration requirements.
The new office space fits in easily to the existing space without reducing the sense of space and size for other office workers.
